We meet onewlogon Friday nights at Energise from 8.00pm to 9.30pm anyone over the age of 8 who can swim 1 length of the pool is more than welcome. Energise feeds through their swim York scheme to Ebor Lifesaving Club where they can develop lifesaving skills and gain recognized qualifications through the Royal Life Saving Society.

We cover the RLSS UK lifesaving courses including Rookie, Bronze Medallion, Award of Merit, Distinction, Bronze Cross and Silver Cross open water awards.  Along with the Life Support 1 and Life Support 3 first aid courses.

Lifesaving is a sport for everyone and a lot more fun than swimming up and down. It is a valuable community skill that could save lives. Lifesavers can bridge the gap between an incident being discovered and the emergency services arriving, in effect making a crucial difference. Emergencies don’t just happen to other people it could be your family or friends who may need your lifesaving skills to save their lives.
